Seniors Holiday 2019 - Kinsale, Co. Cork
This year we travelled to Kinsale for our Annual Holiday for Seniors. The weather was beautiful for our 3 day trip and the scenery and beauty of West Cork did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay in Actons Hotel, and enjoyed exploring the historic town of Kinsale in the evening.Each day we enjoyed a day trip and visited Cobh, where we explored the Queenstownstory, followed by a visit to St Benedicts Priory – a hidden oasis at the top of the town. We enjoyed a visit to the ever popular Model Railway Village in Clonakilty and even managed to squeeze in a bit of shopping on our trip home. Each night we had entertainment and games after dinner, but the highlight for all was the live music and the opportunity for singing and dancing galore! For over forty years, the annual trip has been planned by a committee of Seniors who take great care and attention to in organising the holiday. It provides a great opportunity for connection with old friends and a warm welcome for new comers. We are already looking forward to next years destination!...
