Health & Wellbeing Programmes for Autumn and Winter 2023

       

Silver Arch Family Resource Centre are delighted to announce a series of events coming up this winter including digital literacy, exercise programmes and community choir.

Upcoming Activities


Digital Literacy with Máire Shanahan
A 6-week course to teach people how to go online and use the internet safely. Refreshments will be available.
Cost is €10 and will take place in Silver Arch Training Room 2:15 pm – 3:30 pm from Tuesday 7th November.
 
Green Exercise with Fiona Ward
A free 12-week outdoor walking programme. Takes place every Thursday 2 – 3pm and starts at Nenagh Castle.
Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Safeguarding Awareness Day
Free information talk on planning ahead will take place on Thursday 9th November from 1 – 3pm.
Enjoy Afternoon tea with safeguarding and protection team and citizen’s information staff.
 
Community Choir with Damien O’Donoghue
​Free – singing and music every Wednesday from 12 – 1:30 pm in Tyone Community Centre until Christmas.

Easy Exercise with Fiona Ward
Indoor exercise programme for people who want to improve and maintain mobility.
Takes place Tuesday 14th November from 3:30 – 4:30 pm for 4 weeks in Tyone Community Centre. Cost is €10.
 
Cards & Crafts for Christmas with Melissa Ryan 
Create your own Christmas cards and decorations. All materials supplied.
A one-off workshop on Monday 27th November 2023 from 10:30 – 12:30 pm. Cost: €3
