We are recruiting - Child & Youth Project Worker (Community Development Practice)

Silver Arch FRC are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child & Youth Project Worker to join our Family Services team, initially focusing on the engagement of Ukrainian children and young people in North Tipperary (Nenagh/Newport LEA) on Temporary Protection with the expectation that this will grow to include children & young people who are part of an International Protection Application. This project will be delivered through the practice of community development principles within the Family Resource Centre Model and the Tusla Child & Youth Participation framework. As a Child & Youth Worker, you will play a pivotal role in the prevention and early intervention efforts to support children and young people. The candidate will be responsible for setting up and running child & youth groups. Your work will involve a blend of approaches with a trauma informed practice and strengths-based approach, including one-to-one mentoring, facilitating small group activities, and organising universal programmes and seasonal activities. Moreover, you will be instrumental in supporting referrals of children and young people engaged as appropriate/needed to family support services, youth services, social work etc.
