WE ARE HIRING: PLAY THERAPIST (PART-TIME)

The Play Therapist will use a variety of play and creative arts techniques to alleviate mild and moderate psychological and emotional conditions in children that are causing behavioural problems and/or are preventing children from realising their potential.






Job Title: Play Therapist

Location: Nenagh, Co. Tipperary

Employment Type: Part-Time (14 hours per week), Fixed-Term (12 months)

Salary: €40,325 for 35 hour working week [the salary will be pro rata to 14 hours]

Essential:

A recognised qualification in Play Therapy NQF Level 9 or qualified therapist with specialism in play therapy (e.g., postgraduate diploma or master's degree in psychotherapy, counselling etc.).
Registration with an appropriate professional body (e.g., IAPTP, PTIRL).
Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Play Therapist, preferably with children at various levels of need.
