What is Unity Youth Hub?
Unity Youth Hub is a vibrant space dedicated to nurturing the potential of children and youth from diverse backgrounds. Join us on a journey of learning, play and growth as we create connections & celebrate diversity within our community.
How does it work?
Our Activities include:
- Cultural exploration: Recognising and honouring all cultural backgrounds in order to support and assist successful community integration.
- Learning Supports: Advocate and adapt tasks/ activities to ease the process of workshop participation.
- Arts and Crafts Projects: Activities are created to allow for creative expression and community collaboration. These coincide with seasonal events and allow for Community creative art projects to take place.
- Community Engagement: Working in partnership with existing community and voluntary agencies, allows Unity Youth Hub to enjoy a wraparound community engagement and strengthens connections.
- Life Skills: Workshop activities focus on resilience, empathy & leadership development, creating positive & inclusive environment for self-development.
Who is it for?
The hub is open to children aged from 6 years to 17 years. It invites children and youth to engage with peers of similar international protection circumstances.
