About

Who are we?

Silver Arch FRC has been operating for over 40 years. It was set up by the Diocese in 1973 as Nenagh Social Services. The aim of the service was to address unmet need in the community in relation to home help for the elderly as well as education and additional supports to families in need.

Since then, the service has developed and continues to offer support to individuals, families and the local community in Nenagh and North Tipperary.

In 2017 we moved from our original 'home' in Loreto House, Kenyon St, to more suitable premises and we are now based in 52 Silver Street Nenagh. Our reception is open from 10 – 1 pm and 2 – 4 pm Monday to Thursday and we close at 1 pm on a Friday. We welcome visitors to the service so please pop in to hear more about the type of work we do.
